Schoolcraft College was established over 50 years ago with a focus on progressive innovation, educational excellence and academic success. Schoolcraft offers certificate programs and associate degrees in over 70 different majors, some of which are designed to lead directly to employment, others for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university. Culinary Arts Department

The nationally known Culinary Arts Department, home to Certified Master Chefs and Certified Executive Chefs, has a large influence on the success of the SC Elite Partnership and the St. Joe’s Sports Dome. Offering nutritious and healthy meals for students, staff and community members, they offer several locations across campus:

Campus Life

Athletics

Schoolcraft College competes as a part of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA). The Ocelots offer 7 sports and 12 teams including: Baseball, Basketball, Bowling, Cross Country, Golf, Soccer, Softball and Volleyball.

Fitness Center

The Fitness Center was built in 2012 and features over 100 state of the art equipment pieces including brands such as: Keiser®, Rogue Fitness, Precor®, TRX®, and Concept 2®.

Member benefits include monthly incentive programs and challenges, free lap swim, racquetball and wallyball court rentals, fee-based personal training, and free Equipment Orientations and Fitness Assessments.

Student Activities

Students at Schoolcraft College are encouraged to make connections to other students and the community. The Student Activities Office organizes dozens of special events, activities, programs and community service projects.
