The nationally known Culinary Arts Department, home to Certified Master Chefs and Certified Executive Chefs, has a large influence on the success of the SC Elite Partnership and the St. Joe’s Sports Dome. Schoolcraft College competes as a part of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA). The Ocelots offer 7 sports and 12 teams including: Baseball, Basketball, Bowling, Cross Country, Golf, Soccer, Softball and Volleyball.

The Fitness Center was built in 2012 and features over 100 state of the art equipment pieces including brands such as: Keiser®, Rogue Fitness, Precor®, TRX®, and Concept 2®.
Member benefits include monthly incentive programs and challenges, free lap swim, racquetball and wallyball court rentals, fee-based personal training, and free Equipment Orientations and Fitness Assessments.
